Les Petits Ognons is starting to rival the nearby but much more prestigious (and expensive) Idiot du Village. Classical, unfussed-over Belgian cooking, but not heavy. I especially recommend the lamb and the lotte and crabmeat dishes. Carpaccio of beef also excellent. The garden is full of atmosphere, especially in the evening.
Le Petit Oignons was a very nice resutaurant, has a real locals feel to it. Food was very good and had a nice french falre, rich as it always is. Service was outrageously slow, but then again we did not bring it to their attention as we were just enjoying the evening, only one wait person (which just seems to be the norm in all the restaurants/cafes we ate in)
This was a really good deal, as Brussels is very expensive to eat. We were the only 2 people in the restaurant (bear in mind it was a Monday).
The food was a really hign standard and would like to return on Friday/Saturday night.
Les Petits Oignons was a lovely restaurant and the food was superb. The service was a bit slow though.
