Tour D’y Voir was excellent.
Tour D'y Voir was lovely from when we walked in, to when we left. The food was delicious. We chose the suprise menu and could not fault one thing. The waitress was friendly and we did not have to wait long between meals. It is above a gallery so unless you know about it, you would walk past. I would definately recommend this restaurant.
Tour d'y Voir was lovely inside and out, but bit disappointed with the surprise menu - chef didn't seem to be on one of his more creative nights apart from desert. Service was good, as was the atmosphere, but they could have done with some background music, especially when the restaurant was fairly empty. Would definitely go back though.
The staff in the Tour D'y Voir were very welcoming and the restaurant has a nice gothic atmosphere. The food was beautifully presented and we had good advice about which wine to choose to go with both fish and meat. We had terrine and scallops followed by lamb and monkfish; all well executed and imaginatively presented. The exchange rate was bad when we went, but prices comparable with equivalent restaurants.
My partner and I had a lovely meal at Tour D'y Voir. Food was good (and plentiful) and the wine reasonably priced. The atmosphere was fun & christmassy and everyone was having a nice time. Definately recommended.
