Pretty good restaurant, the starter of the mixed game terrine was really good, the combination of the rich game and the fruit preserves working really well. Cheese board was a slight let down, of the opinion that a good cheese board should let the cheeses do the talking without having sauces and salads that aren't needed. Would recommend this restaurant higher if hadn't eaten at the superior La Clef de Champs, my new favourite Brussels (and possibly European) restaurant.
The Vert de Gris, was booked for our Christmas party, when we arrived the area around the restaurant was a little bit shabby, but once through the door it was like being in another world. I have rated everything as excellent, as all 14 people agreed. I would have no hesitation in recommending Vert de Gris to anyone and if i was ever to return to Brussels i would go back
Food was amazing, service was top notch and the venue was beautiful. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to those who want to dine with the locals rather than a touristy set meal.
Although the service was a little disorganised because the restaurant was busy, we had a lovely evening at Vert de Gris. The food and atmosphere was just what we hoped for. The desserts in particular were delicious! I would definitely book again.
Vert de Gris is an excellent restaurant in Brussels. The last time we ate there was 2 years ago and we loved the food and wine. Of course the menu has changed since then and due to the current low pound value, the total bill ended more expensive than expected. The plate with a selection of deserts was heavenly and definitely value for money at 10 Euros for 4 different deserts!
