For old-school glamour in the seaside town of Nice, we highly recommend visiting Les Viviers – a veritable dining institution. The restaurant at Les Viviers – with red velvet chairs, crisp white linens and potted palms – is a chic and intimate venue for romantic evening meals – while the bistro – with dark wooden furniture, fresh flowers and blackboard menus – has an early 1900s art deco ambience and is a chic place for business lunches and animated dinner parties with friends. Head Chef David Vaque has created a stellar seafood menu including dishes such as jellied oysters, the Dublin Bay prawn salad, and blue lobster served with spring vegetables. Les Viviers has an excellent wine list of vintage champagne and French wines.
