Angelina charms Place de la Porte Maillott and the Palais des Congrès exhibition space in Paris’ Champs Elysees with its long-held luxury tea room fame. Sister to the Belle Epoque institution near the Louvre, think of it as a formal living room where the international cognoscenti tread the plush red carpet to treat themselves to adorable, multi-coloured macaroons, a legendary Angelina hot chocolate (served in a pitcher with tiny cups and a coupe of chantilly on the side), and Mont Blanc pastries (the recipe has remained a secret for over a century). They're the three most-ordered delicacies. Angelina also serves an elegant breakfast/brunch, and a lunch of rich quiches and light salads.
