Bocca di Rosa restaurant in Paris’ Clichy quarter is an Italian restaurant with Calabria at its heart. The small ochre dining room has the ambience of an Italian bistro hung with fabulous paintings by a young Italian illustrator, and looks into the open kitchen where chef Manuel Gallo works his alchemy. The ingredients are always of the highest quality, many of them imported from Calabria, and the dishes a selection of well-loved Italian cuisine and more specifically southern flavours. Try the mixed charcuterie including authentic spianata, linguine with prawns and courgettes flavoured with saffron, pork with limoncello liqueur and rocket, and a selection of three pannacottas.
