Siamin restaurant in the Paris -- if you've never dined in an ancient Thai temple watched over by smiling divinities, Siamin is your best chance. Set on one of Paris' most elegant streets, Siamin is a stylish eaterie evocative of Thailand's grand past and delicious present. Hand-sculpted stone walls are overgrown with vines, beneficent carvings gaze through the centuries, Zen-like music and birdsong sounds in the background create a dreamy ambience. Chef Somchay Kenviray's authentic and refined constructions like som tam plaa or seabass fillet marinated in lime on a bed of green papaya, or ped chu-chii which is duck breast in chu-chii curry sauce with coconut milk. Service is equally refined and delightful.
