Trader Vic's Restaurant can be found in the basement of the Hilton Berlin on Mohrenstraße. The restaurant boasts a South Sea feel and takes guests on a voyage of discovery with its imaginatively designed interior. There's live Caribbean music on Fridays and Saturdays. Trader Vic's founder Victor Jules Bergeron invented the Mai Tai, the world famous classic cocktail, which is served in the lounge based on his original recipe. The bar boasts 50 different types of rum and exotic cocktails. French Polynesian specialities from the Chinese smoke oven complement the cocktails beautifully and the more adventurous diners can grill their own food at the table. The flambéed desserts certainly make an impact as they reach the table in the subtly lit restaurant. Friendly staff are on hand to make sure everyone has a great time.
