The Landhaus Meinsburg is located near Buchholz in Nordheide. The 400 year old half-timbered house is divided into private rooms and as a family-run guesthouse boasts a very intimate feel. Hand-painted oak tables and valuable antiques create a warm and cosy mood. The restaurant serves traditional dishes, as well as dishes with a Mediterranean influence and seasonal specialities typical of the region including game and fish. In the winter months guests can relax in the snug by the open fire and enjoy specialities including crispy duck, Martinmas goose or roast leg of heath lamb. Lunch is served Monday to Friday from 12 noon -2.30pm.
