The restaurant was established 25 years ago and has built up a reputation that extends far beyond regional boundaries. The Brennfleck family purchased the property in 2004 and have restructured the restaurant area to create a welcoming atmosphere. The interior decor was given a gentle update to bring it into modern times without damaging the historic character of the building. The head chef is Sebastian Messinger, who is an advocate of culinary tradition and top quality. The Bitzerhof offers guests international cuisine cooked to culinary perfection and supported by superb service. The Bitzerhof is one of the Rhineland's leading restaurants.
