The Warung Bali is an Indonesian restaurant situated near to Cologne's Stadtgarten. It treats diners to typical Bali cuisine. It can seat 34 people indoors and another 40 out on the terrace. The menu is extensive, offering traditional Bali dishes such as Nasi Goreng - and specialities of the house, such as Kambing Kari (lamb curry with bamboo shoots, chick peas, paprika, banana blossom, coriander, aniseed and tamarind) and various satays. Vegetarians also have a large choice of exotic dishes, such as Kari Sayur (a sweet and spicy, golden-yellow vegetable dish with traditional curry spices and bananas). Ingredients are carefully chosen and combined - based on expert knowledge of spices ? just as they are in Bali, which is called the island of the gods and of pleasure. The restaurant has been recommended in the Cologne gastronomic guide. It also serves traditional local Kölsch beer, Asian beer and wine to go with the exotic dishes.
