Restaurant: Ditirambo

Created in honour of Dionysius, the God of wine, Milan presents Ditirambo – a temple to the Romans’ finest creation (in our humble opinion) hidden away on a wide tree lined street in the centre of this fashionable city. Here cool, young oenophiles sup bottles of the vine’s finest in intentionally un-finished surroundings. Rough hewn plaster walls are washed in a Mediterranean blue, reclaimed radiators and higgledy piggledy rows of books give a just-don’t-care look that is just crying out to be noticed. A creative menu has wine in mind as flavours of glass and plate find themselves perfect bed fellows. Try the Menu Gourmand to get a real feel for what the kitchen can do – it comes with a glass of wine too of course.
