Very good food and wine, great staff, restaurant a little noisy but was full, so little wonder.
We really enjoyed our evening at Altmann, friendly, helpful and knowledgeable staff, a nice atmosphere and an excellent, imaginative asian fusion menu. Highly recommended.
My starter was superb, with plenty of lobster and my grilled beef was slender and lovingly prepared a few more slices wouln't have gone astray and my chocolate brownie was yummy at the Altmann. The second diner had a good choice of vegetarian and fish dishes to choose from. I choose a vegetarian sushi stater which was incrediably tasty followed by a dry noodle spring roll filled with sundied tomato and goats cheese which also didn't let the pallette down.
Highly Enjoyable and great Valentines Day supper. Superb ambience.
The Altmann is slightly out of the centre but well worth a visit. The service was very friendly and adaptions to the menu were made easily by the chef for more vegetarian options. The deserts were excellent too and I'm not really a big dessert person. The restaurant was busy when we went but surprisingly the level of noise wasn't distracting. The tables are a good distance apart so your not listening to other people's conversation.
