A modern restaurant with a Syrian-Lebanese kitchen, Syriana sits near the main highways of Amsterdam, in Sloten. A large, rather luxurious stand-alone space, it splits into three. An Arabian-themed foyer lounge bar is decked in plush, exotic sofas covered in cushions, and divided by elegant drapes through which you can glimpse others sharing their pick of a lengthy cold meze menu. Equally chic but calmer in look and feel, Syriana’s main restaurant serves menus to share, and a more expensive selection based on the fit-for-a-king menus of the traditional courts. There’s also a spacious leafy terrace for sunny days.
