The gourmet dining scene in Lisbon has been set alight with the design-driven, Michelin-starred powerhouse that is Eleven restaurant. Located atop a hill above the Parque Eduardo VII surrounded by the lush Amália Rodrigues gardens, Eleven enjoys enviable views of the city and this organic, architecturally designed restaurant is renowned for its sleek minimalist décor. The dining room features backlit vanilla leather banquettes, bespoke artworks and enormous glass windows that look out over the River Tagus. Internationally acclaimed chef Joachim Koerper has designed a breath-taking menu, and we love the crayfish carpaccio with pineapple and sweet peppers; and the foie gras terrine with fig mousse and beetroot chutney.
