Restaurant: BroadBar

2008 saw a new set of velvet ropes and concomitant security guards appear among the high end clubs of Aribau, Barcelona. BroadBar mixes Eastern eating with Western dancing and TV in one funky futuristic club dominated by white, black, red and blue. A long entrance bar leads to several minimalist spaces, each different in look and feel. The most exotic is the BroadBar restaurant, serving an energising Japanese and south east Asian menu, including lacquered pi pa roast duck, kobe steak, and sweet soft-shell crab. After dinner, the room is transformed into a sexy club, playing all sorts from house and electro to DJ sets and live performances by up and coming artists.
