A lovely restaurant, set in what seems to be a converted space with rich furnishings and artwork hung and set against exposed steel beams and brick walls. The ambience is quietly relaxed, with upholstered banquettes and white table linens. Named for its chef and owner, Tribeca serves Catalan cuisin... Read more

This was our third visit and the food was as good as ever. Free bottle of wine was much appreciated - a very pleasant white wine.
I chose well and had a superb monk fish carpaccio followed by torilloni truffle cream dish. Free wine with the offer was good.
Boix de la Cerdanya was lovely. My husband and I arrived over an hour late (forgot the time difference) and they had no problem with the mix up. The free bottle of Cava was very nice, but the food was amazing. We both had carpaccio he had the monkfish and I had the beef and for mains we both had fish I had a beautifully cooked asian tuna steak while he had cod au gratin. Next time we are in Barcelon we will return!
Boix de la Cerdagne is now called "Tribeca" and is an attractive modern space. However, while the food was truly outstanding the service was extremely bad despite us being one of only two small tables in the restaurant and one large table who had just arrived. They seemed to pay little attention to any of the diners at all! If the place was packed I imagine it would have a great atmosphere, and the food was fantastic. Worth a visit on a busier day perhaps and just live with the service!
Boix de la Cerdanya was a great choice for our last lunch in Barcelona, the staff were very accommodating as we had an 8 month old with us. A very relaxing ambience and Menu options were great, a good variety of both fish and meat, I had the monkfish which was superb. Would definitey return here on our next visit to Barcelona.
