The Atrium has once again provided an excellent night out and we are now getting used to the bare wood tables that were introduced a few years ago. We chose the tasting menu and were not disappointed. When we asked for one of the courses to be changed, due to an allergy to capsicum, this was done with no fuss. Helpful and excellent waiting staff and a nicely balanced wine list. Our visit lasted 3.5 hours and so we must have enjoyed it!
The tasting menu at the Atrium was an enjoyable experience - the scallops were a triumph. However, the venue lacks does lack ambience and the interior scheme tries too hard to compensate for this. The waiting staff are charming but perhaps try a little too hard. Overall the Atrium is a treat but heavy on the wallet.
If you are looking for fine dining, Amber is certainly a good place to go. Good food, good service and great ambience. The pre-starter compliments were great too!
Atrium is a friendly restaurant. It was dead last night but hopefully things will pick up. Three menus and the a la carte was good. Local produce and generally good. A place to go as a group who wants to enjoy good food. Prices were reasonable for the quality.
It was a last minute booking. Was walking around the centre of Edinburgh and remembered the name of the restaurant - Atrium. Called Toptable and got a table 30 mins later. Fantastic food, beautifully low-key ambience, thoroughly admirable service and the best value for money bottle of wine ever. Good work. Will be returning.
Wonderful food at the Atrium, Edinburgh. I would highly recommend this venue!
Lovely food. Gradvalax starters were perfect. Main courses were also good but the seafood stew could have had a more intense flavour. The cheese at the end was an interesting selection and was served at the perfect temperature. Service was excellent throughout even though the restaruant was quite busy.
