We had an excellant lunch and a lovely day in Edinburgh.

La Garrigue offers decent, provincial French cooking in a very tasteful environment. We had an offer through Top-Table and while the food was nice it wasn't spectacular and if we had paid full price we wouldn't have been that impressed.

Lovely food and atmosphere at La Garrigue.

Having spent many a holiday in France over the past thirty years, we found the food at La Garrigue to be extremely authentic. So many French restaurants make adjustments to suit a British palette, but the dishes here were served exactly as they would be in he Languedoc. A great meal and excellent value when booked through Toptable.

I went to La Garrique for a cheese and wine tasting evening. We tried a variety of red wines from the Rhone region and had these with some pasta, lamb stew and cheese. We were encouraged to compare notes with the other diners and had a very enjoyable time.
