A French bistro set right on zooming Queensferry Street, Petit Paris brings the authentic flavours and smells of Paris to Auld Reekie. The entrance is teensy. Make your way upstairs to the whitewashed dining room at speed. The chummy tables have checkerboard table clothes, charming vases ... Read more

Food was excellent. We had a very pleasant evening in authentic French atmosphere. It was a little cold on the night we were ther but it was in November. Set menu of 2 course for 11.95 is only available up until 7.00pm.
Dined at Petit Paris on an extremely busy (what credit crunch?!) Saturday night. Petit Paris probably offers the most authentic French bistro dining experience in Edinburgh and the small dining rooms help create a buzzing atmosphere. Food and service both good but the atmosphere is the winner here!
Petite Paris is a perfect venue for dining in a crowd. The service is wonderful and the staff are always very pleasant.
Petit Paris, Edinburgh. Deliberately very, very French - even to the extent that some of the French-speaking staff couldn't explain some of the dishes on offer.
A decent £10 set lunch consisted of excellent country terrine ("Eet is made of Beef's foot") with a small mixed salad and, for a main, a slow-cooked piece of pork belly and veg. Two lunches, a glass of house white and a jug of house red (three glasses) plus coffee cost £34. Not bad at all.
I booked a table for 9 people as a pre-Rugby lunch. Even though we all arrived at different times, and a little late, all of the staff were very helpful and friendly even though it was an extremely busy period. My wife thought the toilets were superb. The food was excellent, the wine list was comprehensive and good value. I would definitely go back, and also recommend to friends. Thank you.
