Yet again a wonderful meal at Voujon; I am always amazed at how few people seem to be eating, albeit we do tend to get there earlier than most, as we usually have a concert at 7.30 (It's only a short bus ride from the centre, and very well located for the Queen's Hall, but 5-10 minutes on foot). The food is among some of the best Indian food I and my friend have tasted, the chicken dishes in particular, and the service is impeccable. Do give Voujon a try.

Very impressed with voujon. Lovely food, friendly staff and very drinkable house wine. HIghly recommended! Will definitely be back.

Voujon, Edinburgh: We arrived 20 minutes early for our meal, but the restaurant was very accommodating, and ensured us good seating away from the door straight away. The food was excellent. The portions filling and sensible. The service was very good indeed. One's needs were attended to within a couple of minutes of trying to grab a waiter's attention. The toilets for both ladies and gents were poor however. Overall, taking into account value for money as well, we give Voujon 7.5 out of 10

Food was good but service was a bit slow. Having said that would be happy to go back.

Voujon is what you expect from the higehr end of Indian restaurants. Food was good, service excellent and the wine list reasonable in depth and price. Check it out if you have a hankering for curry, but not sure it's worth making a big trek to get to.
