Returning to Cafe Mao was a worthwhile experience for me and a friend. Great food (Malaysian chicken was a treat), decent wine choices and we did not feel rushed which is always a bonus. Just a reminder -you need to use chopsticks so get practising!! Will def be back soon.
Cafe Mao has cahnged its menu since the last time i was there, and its still absolutely fantastic. it still has all the old mao classics but with a few new extras in there! the nasi goreng is particularly gd, i think its the fried egg that makes it so gd!
If you go to Glasgow DO NOT MISS THIS RESTAURANT!! The flavours are superb. The ambience lively. The staff helpful. But the food...siumply superb.
Cafe Mao was a lovely place to meet friends and enjoy a lovely meal together. The service was excellent and they made you feel very welcome. Will definately be back.
Mao's has been one of my favourite restaurants since it opened nearly 10yrs ago. The food is excellent and although I have moved away from the area, whenever I visit back home, always try to include a visit to Mao's. Well recommended for lunch or dinner.
