Micahel Caines at ABode was a lovely venue for a family lunch. Incredible value for some excellent food, superbly matched with great service every bit as well as the tasting wines matched with the grazing menu!

The £9.95 Amazing Grazing three course menu at Michael Caines at Abode was truly exceptional and at £16.00 per person including two partnered wines had to be a bargain. The food was truly wonderful. However deviate from the set meal at your peril. A glass of champagne cost us £11.50 each!.
All in all, we enjoyed an excellent 3 course lunch (matched with wines at each course), preceded by a glass of champage and followed by coffee and petits fours, for £72.00.
    Pricey perhaps.. but very good!!!

Had a very pleasant meal at Michael Caines at Abode Glasgow. Was on a tight schedule but could not ignore the tasting menu. Seven fabulous courses with coffee and petits fours all for £55. Pretty good value for the quality of fare on offer. The desserts were especially noteworthy. As mentioned I was on a tight schedule and all the stops were pulled out on service. Was well accomodated and each course produced exactly when required and served with a smile. Would heartily recommend

This restaurant is quite clearly striving to be something special, but it is not quite cutting the grade. The staff seemed a bit dazed and confused when asked what they would reccomend, poor knowledge of the menu, no vegetarian option on the menu. Food was delicious though, Venison was cooked to perfection. No atmosphere though.

Michael Caines at ABode really disappointed. Food was cooked well enough but combinations were strange - scallops and chicken wings????? and foam by the bucket load. Was hoping to discover a venue for future celebrations but it won't be ABode

We thoroughly enjoyed dinner at Michael Caines at Abode. Each course was excellent - and the wine list too. The service was friendly, although the waited could have been more discreet when handling the bill as he kept putting it on the table as he struggled with the pay machine - leaving the rather substantial price open for my guests to see.
