Great place for a relaxing sunday lunch with friends. The only thing was that I did request a discrete table when I booked, Chapters as my friend was bringing her 11 weeks old daughter and unfortunately they didnt respond to my request! It was very busy so the corner tables were already occupied so my friend ended up feeding her daughter in her car!! At least she managed to eat her starter and main first!!!

Following its recent makeover, Chapters has reatined its place as the best dining destination in Blackheath village. The ambiance is more casual than before and the menu no longer ape's Chapter One's Michelin star menu, instead providing gastro-pub type fare but with a US twist. The rib eye steak was the best I'd tasted this side on the Pond and the fish n chips were a classic, whilst the venison was a welcome nod to its Chapter II heritage. Puds though good were a notch down. Highly recommended

Solid winner. The starter of honey-glazed quail is consistently good and whatever main you have, you won't be disappointed. The house wines are also very good and well-priced. Great place.

Chapters All Day dining served great food, but the atmosphere was a little dry and formal. Good service though.

Came here for a birthday lunch. They allowed us to arrive late, have lots of cocktails, then order the food which all arrived at the same time (no one was left waiting) and was delicious. Recommend this restaurant very highly! Beautiful location too
