My first visit to Shikara was a really enjoyable birthday treat, the food arrived quickly and every mouthful was delicious , the staff were very attentive and friendly, I look forward to my next visit

I have been to the restaurant once recently and have also had a take away from here. I have to say it's just outstanding and miles better than other Indian restaurants in the area. The quality and presentation are excellent, good size portion. Started with the papdums followed by Seekh kebab as an starter. Had Mirchi Lamb karahi for the main absoulte winner. Lamb cooked with dry red chillies in a special wok. everything tasted nice and fresh.

This was our 4th visit to Shikara , always enjoy the food.
Main course's excellent, only criticism we found the mango & mint yogurt ,with the popadums a bit to thick, to our taste. TM
