The Hampshire hotel is situated right in the heart of Leicester Square and I was shocked that I was able to have a meal there for only £20!!! It was a very nice meal and I could have eaten all the dishes on the menu. The service was excellent and the atmosphere within the restaurant made it all the more enjoyable. I would definately eat there again!

My experience at The Hampshire Restaurant and Bar was fabulous. My friend and I thoroughly enjoyed the beautifully presented meal which was an absolute culinary delight. For Hors d'oeuvre we had asparagus with poached egg and hollandaise sauce (which was to perfection). The lemon sole melted in the mouth. Service was attentive without being intrusive. Would thoroughly recommend. Terrific!

We found the Hampshire Restaurant and Bar quite an Oasis in one of the most touristy parts of London. Enjoyed this but check the drinks menu before ordering there is a sting in the tail. Also this is another venue that despite adding a 'discretionary' 12.5 % for service leaves a neat place on the bill for a graturity. I am always happy to reward good service but don't like being charged twice for the same thing.

The steak at the Hampshire hotel was delicious, cooked to perfection and couldn't be faulted; warning that the only salad you'd get with it is a small stuffed tomato (filling very dry) wouldn't have gone amiss. The pancakes with brandy and orange sauce we had for dessert were unfortunately bland. The service was excellent. However being seated behind a pillar with a view of road works prevented advertised star spotting and detracted from any feeling of luxury created by the seating and deco

The Hampshire was very quiet and an oasis within the noisy crush of Leicester Sq. Two course set menu Rib Eye was excellent, as was the Salmon starter.

We had a large Xmas booking (16) with the set menu which was excellent. The Turkey main was huge and with all the trimmings. Dessert was OK - brown bread ice cream was the best from the menu. Overall was a top location and extremely affordable given this and the quality of the food.

The Hampshire Restuarant is in a great location for a meal before going to the cinema or theatre.. The food was good, and service slow to start with, but when we mentioned going to the theatre they responded quickly.

On second visit the Hampshire restaurant was excellent as usual. Pre dinner drink in lounge relaxing lounge is a must, great for watching Leicester Sq buzz! Had Valentine%u219 Day set menu which was great value and even bigger enjoyment. Main course dish (sea bass) was warm when it arrived but it was promptly re-ordered from the kitchen and was perfect. Always a pleasure, will come back!
