Located inside an old inn on the Kings Road in Manchester, JS Restaurant is one of the oldest kosher dining rooms in town. Opened in 1956, this restaurant has been attracting a jovial well-heeled crowd for decades, and the recently refurbished dining room has been decorated with polished wooden floors, crisp linens and high-backed leather chairs. The menu here is diverse and includes traditional dishes such as chopped liver served with pickled cucumber, as well as a variety of meals such as teriyaki chicken, the Chicago hot-dog, fisn 'n' chips and the Israeli platter complete with houmus, tehina, falafel, shawarma and pitta.
