Went to Yang Sing on Saturday night, had been really looking forward to it as we booked approx 3 months ago. We booked the main restaurant however on arrival they insisted we went downstairs to the banquet area (dont know if menu is diff from upstairs). They plonked us in a squeezed table right by the stairs awful location everytime the upstairs door open it was freezing, food was pretty rubbish plus total bill was £73 (oh first bill came was£91 additions to our bill we didnt have) CHECK YR BILL

Yang Sing , Manchester , main restaurant is well organised in terms of layout and the food was excellent .

I was disappointed with the Yang Sing restaurant. As one of Manchesters best known Chinese restaurants, you would expect better. The service was fine, but the meal was let down by the quality of the food. The Chicken used in my main course did not look, or taste, particularly nice. Another annoyance was them playing Christmas Carols at deafening volume. Volume aside, I would much prefer they played something a bit more befitting.

Yang sing was value for money, a lot of food in the set menu.
Service was a little rushed and out table was a bit to close to comfort to tables around us, they have crammed a lot of table is. on the whole a nice meal.
