La Terza (means "ON THIRD" IN ITALIAN) is a first class restaurant serving Italian food and international wines. The restaurant is located on the premises of The Orlando Hotel at 8384 West Third Street (previously occupied by Cava Restaurant). The 5400 square foot two-level space seats approximately 150 people. La Terza will serve three meals a day, seven days a week and will provide room service to the hotel guests. The menu is creative and contemporary Italian, incorporating the best local California produce as well as the best products imported from the Mediterranean. The focal point of the kitchen will be the glowing wood-burning rotisserie and the wood-burning grill visible from the restaurant entry and bar area. The rotisserie and the grill sections of the menu will include items such as fish, poultry, game and meat. The rotisserie cooking technique not only creates intense flavors and aromas, but also promotes health due to the fact that the fat drips out of the meat.
