Picholine offers conteporary French-Mediterranean cuisine in both it's elegant dining rooms and casual, no reservation cheese and wine bar. A new menu de economie offered in the cheese and wine bar includes tasting plates for twenty and expanded selection of tasting flights (three for $20), and sixty bottles of wine under $60. Perhaps best known for introducing the European cheese cart to discerning American diners, Chef Brennan also specializes in Wild Game and innovative contemporary Mediterranean dishes.
The restaurant recieved a James Beard Foundation nomination for the countrie's outstanding restaurant in 2007, and was awarded two stars in both the 2008 and 2009 editions of Michelin Guide New York City.
